I'm loving: eBay jewellery

It's the weekend! I hope you are all having a lovely relaxing day so far. I wanted to show you these amazing bargains I have been accumulating for the past few weeks from eBay. I was after some really lovely bright statement necklaces and a few of you lovely girlies recommended eBay to me. Well firstly let me just say THANK-YOU!! I spent hours trawling through gorgeous necklaces and was sure there must be a catch when I saw that the majority of them were under £4! Nevertheless I went ahead and ordered a lot few and they arrived over the past week so now they are all here I thought I would show you what I picked up.

Pretty gorgeous for eBay right?! Well all of these were from international sellers which means they do take a bit longer to get to you BUT the shipping is free so I think that's pretty fair. Here are some shots of them on to give a better idea of the sizes!
(in clockwise order)
1 2 3 4 5 6
I also wanted to let you know how I found the process of ordering from international sellers. All of these arrived within 2 weeks and I have to say the sellers were just brilliant, the necklaces were packed really well and I already have my eye on a few other ones. I was in H&M yesterday and I saw a necklace almost identical to no.4 and it was £14.99, that is near enough the same as I paid for ALL of these, how crazy is that?!

What do you think of my eBay bargains?
I would love to see your eBay finds so feel free to leave your links below!

Look Beauty Lip Smoothie

Hi girlies how has you week been? I found this week went by quite slowly but then it was suddenly Friday! I have some family coming to stay for the bank holiday so *fingers crossed* the weather picks up and we can have a bbq! Today I thought I would share this lip scrub I picked up from Superdrug a few weeks ago. It is from the Look Beauty make-up range which is fast becoming one of my favourite makeup ranges, I love the eyeshadows, foundations, blushers and nail polishes! I was really attracted to this one as my beloved Lush Lip Scrub has run out and I thought I would try something new for comparison.
Firstly this one is in a tube and you can squeeze out as much or as little as you like which is definitely an improvement on the Lush glass jar packagaing! It has an almost identical taste to the Lush Sweet Lips which is quite a minty sweet taste. I think it is most likely the exact same formula just in much more user friendly packaging. I do feel like this would last longer and get used more for me personally as I can pop it in my bag and just use it whenever my lips feel a tad dry, it is much less messy to use and I feel like I won't lose any on application like I do with the Lush version. The only major difference is the 'finish' of sorts, the Look Beauty one feels quite nourishing on the lips, almost like that hydrating roll on lip balm/oil you can get! They are quite similar in price with this one being £5 but Look Beauty often have 1/2 off everything so I plan on picking up a couple when they are just £2.50.

What do you think of this 'lip scrub' trend?
Do you have any other lip scrub recommendations for me?
Let me know!

Mini Shopping Haul Feat. Zara & New Look

Just a few bits I picked up but I am definitely starting to love all the summer clothes that are out, bit of a shame that the weather isn't matching the pretty dresses :( I picked up this set of 4 rings from New Look, I think they are a nice mixture of basic and statement rings and for £6.99 they were a bit of a bargain! The bikini is from New Look too, I saw it in the sale hidden down the bottom and thought the print was really lovely, I usually just wear black bikinis as I am quite big busted I find patterns and colours can make me look pretty top heavy but this looks nice and girly on! I also picked up a few tees from Zara, I was after one of the leather trimmed tees for ages and thought the striped one looked perfect for popping on with jeans or tucked into a skirt, I also got these 2 plain t-shirts, one in a coral stripe and one white. They were just £5.99 each and are a little shorter than normal tees but not quite a cropped length so perfect for embracing the trend without baring the flesh! I have a few more bits that I have picked up since and so I will pop that review up soon. I am also planning on doing a couple of vlogs (you can check my first one out in the post below!) over the weekend!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Lycra Flex Mascara Review

Hi girlies! Sorry I have been a bit M.I.A but I have spent the past weekend redecorating my room and updating my storage with some new bits from Ikea. I will be popping up a room tour video later in the week to show you how my room looks now and I hope you all like what I've done! Onto todays review, I picked up the Rimmel Scandaleyes Lycra Flex Mascara in Superdrug mainly because the brush looked really good for creating volume. I don't usually buy Rimmel mascaras, I always feel a bit disappointed in them to be honest but nevertheless I did pick this one up so here is my review!
So firstly Rimmel says this mascara was created as the first oversized volume mascara with Lycra for soft and flexible lashes. It has a 'Max Density' brush which provides full coverage from the lashline in one coat and the Lycra formula is weightless whilst giving a 'voluptous' look with flexible lashes that are never stiff or brittle. Does this sound familiar? Yep the claims are pretty similar to the Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara which I personally loved but does this one match up to the Maybelline offering?
This isn't a terrible mascara but it does have quite a few flaws which for me means the Mega Plush wins the competition for the best 'flexi' mascara I've tried. Firstly the brush is definitely thicker than the Maybelline one and has a bit of a christmas tree shape to it, it looks really impressive but I found it picks up too much product which results in smudging on application. Smudging aside the brush does live up to the blurb of 'full coverage from the lashline' but the product itself doesn't dry very well. It means you needs a good few minutes to let the mascara dry or you end up with yet more smudging everywhere! I have to admit that although I liked the end result I didn't love it, I personally think there are lots of other budget brands who do mascaras a lot better than Rimmel and this latest offering hasn't done anything to change my mind.

So not the best mascara review to kickstart the week with but I still hope it was helpful!
Do you have any mascara recommendations for me?
